Black Heart: First Impressions
It was the first day of work after arriving to Toffee Town. Zayn decided to drop by Gelato Gemstones during his break time to familiarize himself with the town. Luca greeted the human formally, and for a short while, their interaction was pure business. However, it’s not long until the topic of peach pie cropped up and the rest of the personal interests came into play. The two instantly connected over their similar palates. Zayn could see how passionate Luca is over peach pie and offers to teach him how to make it on their next off day!

Early Mid-Fall: Family Peach Jam
After Zayn had gone to the effort of teach Luca how to make a peach pie the little stoat wanted to find a way to thank him. Back home his mother would always make peach jam and an idea struck him. As much as he loved it, he knew Zayn would be able to appreciate it far more and make many wonderful things from it. He handed it over and Zayn in turn surprised him with a plate of buns. He didn't know what to make of it at first but when the peach jam oozed out and he realized it was a special treat for him... well. Tears ensued. Poor Zayn sure was surprised.

Late Mid-Fall: A Warm Delivery
Zayn dropped by Gelato Gemstones again during break time. This time, he brought along a fresh, warm box of savoury food as a surprise for Luca. The stoat was overjoyed by the gesture. Seeing how pleased the hybrid received the delivery, the cook made it a plan to do this often.

End of Fall: Sneaky Conversation
Towards the end of Fall, after a busy day’s work Zayn and Luca bumped into each other on the way home. Sure enough they got talking about their day and how things had been going. Luca asked Zayn if he could teach him more things like he had Peach Pie and along the way asked small, sneaky questions to work out things that the blonde male liked. Why? Well, he had a surprise for his brother and he wanted to make sure it would be something very special! What better opportunity. Although oblivious to the stoats motives Zayn gave him the answers he needed... unknowingly.
